Antique Charm, Modern Elegance
This bathroom is a perfect example of how HUB Design/Build adapts
to our clients desires and shows the detail work of which we
are capable. It is one we are particularly proud of, and our
clients are extremely happy. |
|
This enclosure is a frameless, glass shower enclosure, finished
off in 12 X 12 green marble tiles, floor and ceiling. |
 |
|
Hardware installed in the bathroom. Lynne Stephenson worked
very closely with the client to finalize their selection of
these fixtures, which came from Dornbracht. |
 |
|
New 2-person, cast iron whirlpool, by Kohler, with a green marble
deck on top of a custom made surround that was faux finished
to match the 1920 sideboard in the next photo. |
 |
|
This 1920 sideboard was originally found by the client who asked
HUB Design/Build to include it in the remodeling. The sideboard
had to be customized specifically to accept the double bowls,
fixtures and accompanying plumbing. Of note is the fact that
all of the drawers were modified to facilitate their ability
to be used. |
 |
|
Note the transom above the sideboard. This was installed to
permit light from the three bathroom windows to enter the master
bedroom, instilling a feeling of spaciousness. |
