We were able to blend our clients’ various lifestyle needs into the updated kitchen they wanted, complete with all the modern amenities. Crucial for them is a warming drawer to keep food warm until all the family members arrive home. Also extremely important to these clients is food quality.

Like most people they are health conscious and want to receive all the nutrients and vitamins from fresh food and yet not compromise the taste by overcooking. We accomplished this by installing a steam oven, which seals in the flavor, color, moisture, vitamins and minerals lost by other cooking methods.

The kitchen was given a clean, sleek appearance by using flat panel cabinets in a simple slab style that emphasizes the natural wood. The long, slender hardware accentuates the horizontal lines created by the wide drawers. A bit of whimsy was added by placing squiggle-shaped handles on the spice drawers.

The tile backsplash is Chiaro tumbled marble accented with a bronze metal liner. Luminous grey glass decorative tile, hand-painted with copper, are set on an angle to form diamond shapes in the backsplash. The wooden floor is wide-planked maple laid on a diagonal to give the room the extra pop.
